Hijab Sheikh, of Boonton, completed a spring semester-long internship with Congressman Rodney Frelinghuysen (NJ-11) in his Morristown office. During her time there, her daily office responsibilities consisted of working on various projects assisting people and local events of New Jersey's 11th Congressional District.

Sheikh's favorite part of interning was assisting with large-scale constituent projects and overall, getting a deeper insight into the inner workings of a congressional office.
Sheikh reportedly contributed to the congressman and his staff through her hard work, attention to detail and overall good attitude.
Sheikh is a junior majoring in public health with a concentration in community health and minoring in business, as well as nutrition at Montclair State University. She hopes to pursue a career in healthcare administration upon graduation.
