Terrorist outfit Islamic State (ISIS) is known for their propaganda tactics and their inhumanity which they are spreading all around the world by taking the support of religion. People are getting influenced too, no matter what education background they have. In the latest strategy to promote their ideology, they have released a message in the social networking sites which differentiates between a 'Hijabi' and 'Hoejabi' — both used for Muslim women who wear veil, either in shape of Burkha or a Hijab.
According to the definition of ISIS, which is written by Umm Isa Al-Amrikiah, a Hijabi is 'a Muslimiah who is fully covered head to toe, as her lord commanded'. While a Hoejabi is 'a hybrid between a whore and a Hijabi. A creature somewhat confused whether she belongs in this camp or that'. The message is spreading like a wild fire soon after it was released and forwarded by the fellow followers of ISIS. (ALSO READ: Shocking! But, according to the definition of Urban Dictionary[2], Hijabi means 'A women or girl who wears the Islamic head-covering respectfully, called Hijab. This is the Arabic word for headscarf but isn't limited to that. It also means "cover" or "protection" against evil things in the surrounding world'. While Hoejabi is a combination of two words — Hoe plus Hijabi. The meaning further says, a Muslim girl wearing a Hijab or a scarf and acting like a slut. Though most of the time she may not even be a Hoe (slut), but probably she is dating someone, which is considered as sin , as if she wear a Hijab, she should not do venture out with anyone, but her husband. Coming back to the message, it even describes what a woman should not do in order to preserve the trust and faith towards their husband and religion. The message was tweeted by an alleged American woman with ISIS ties, which was further shared by a postdoctoral investigator Amarnath Amarasingham, who is trying to examine the co-existence of foreign fighter and jihadism in Syria and Iraq.
