A woman wearing a hijab was filmed apparently tearing up an Israeli flag left by mourners to honour those who died in the Brussels attack before hiding the pieces under another banner.
French broadcaster RTL inadvertently captured the footage at the shrine set up at Brussels' Place de la Bourse for the 34 killed in Tuesday's horrific attack.
During the clip the woman, in a hijab, a brown coat and a scarf, picks up a Palestinian flag from the candle-lit vigil and takes it over to an Israeli flag.
She bends down to pick up the blue and white Israeli flag and begins ripping it up.

She then places the pieces beneath another flag, which looks as though it could be the symbol of Georgia.
The woman then walks off out of shot, without a single one of the onlookers who witnessed her act challenging her.

It is unclear whether she placed the Palestinian flag in the Israeli flag's place but she is longer carrying it when she walks away.
This shocking video is not the only time an Israeli flag has been tampered with at the memorial, with a man being filmed covering an Israeli flag with a Palestinian one.
Since tragic terror attacks, the Place de la Bourse - the plaza outside Belgium's stock exchange - has become a spot where those wishing to can pay their respects to victims and their families.
Thousands gathered there for a candle-lit vigil on Tuesday evening, carrying banners that read: 'Je Suis Bruxelles'.
