Cops reportedly escorted a Muslim woman wearing a hijab out of a Donald Trump rally in South Carolina Friday after she stood in silent protest as he spoke.
The woman, identified by CNN as Rose Hamid[1], 56, made her gesture when Trump suggested Muslim refugees fleeing fighting in Syria were affiliated with ISIS.
The man seated next to her, Marty Rosenbluth, also stood up.
As the two were led from the hall in the town of Rock Hill, Trump supporters booed them and shouted at them to "get out.''
"The ugliness really came out fast and that's really scary,'' Hamid told CNN in a phone interview after she was ejected.
She said one person screamed out, "You have a bomb! You have a bomb!''
Trump has called for a temporary ban on the US accepting Muslim refugees.[2]
